Industrial Sector Leaders – Wood Products, and Director of Quebec Lab, FPInnovations
After graduating in mechanical engineering at Université Laval in 1994, Éric Dunn began his career as an engineer at Uniforêt - Scierie Péribonka. He was later appointed plant manager for Coopérative Forestière Laterrière and at Lauzon Planchers de bois exclusifs in Maniwaki. He was also director of manufacturing operations for Groupe Rémabec in La Tuque. From 2008 to 2015 he worked in the food processing industry as the Quebec district general manager at Sanimax. In May 2015 he returned to the wood processing industry as the director of member relations, Eastern Canada, at FPInnovations. In March 2018 he was promoted to industrial sector leaders – wood products for Eastern Canada and also director of Quebec Lab at FPInnovations.
