Vice-president, operations, Brunette Machinery Company
Peterson Cheung joined Brunette Machinery Company as vice-president of operations in July 2019. He began his career in forestry with CAE Machinery in 1988 as an estimator. During his venture at CAE/Carmanah, he was promoted to industrial engineering supervisor and was responsible for the estimating and the control of the manufacturing logistics of all capital and pulp mill equipment for shop production. He left CAE/Carmanah after 24 years to pursue a career in project management. He accepted the position of industrial sales project manager/estimator at Knelson Manufacturing/FLSmidth where his role, as the head of the industrial sales division, was to bring industrial work into the workshop. He later moved to Eriez Flotation Division to expand his project and operation management career in the mining sector. Peterson worked at Eriez Flotation Division for six years as project manager before coming on board at Brunette.
